Unrest of Spirit

Like darkened, heavy clouds block out the hopeful sun and that first clash of thunder sets a dismal fate to form those anxious, inner thoughts of what's to come... unrest of spirit morphs my hope to troubled state. But when the pouring rain has washed the stormy air and light behind an ashen cloud renews the calm, I see a tint of rainbow arching 'neath sun's glare... my restful spirit soon returns with hope's aplomb.
