Unrefined

I try to be Ladylike, And leave my dizzy youth. Ladies do not swear, I'm not sure this is the truth. I wear lace gloves, And always wear a hat, When I attend church on Sundays Can you get more ladylike than that? Sometimes things happen, When ladylike won't do. I forget I am a lady, And say rude words like you. My lady icing drops off. When I see someone being unkind, That gets my knickers in a twist, So much for being refined. I quickly put myself together, And straighten up my hat. I put my nose up in the air, Saying, that's that.

I always thought that I would grow more sophisticated as I aged. It didn't happen. In fact I lean more toward the eccentricity poem these days. (My kettle has just burnt dry. must fly.) Tache acre.
