UNRAVELLING CHOICES AND CHOICES

In the spirit of hope, we contemplatively search

Beyond the horizon for the mystic exorcism

Of the pandemic deaths proliferating from

The disparity reigning from viral social

And political infestations decimating

We selected targeted ones of color:-

And the audacity of such hope must be sought

Within the horizon of the spirit of our mind and soul,

Where abides the power exorcism infused with divine

Wisdom and guidance to exorcize the “in” out of justice:-

In Proverbial scripture of wisdom and guidance,

It is poured out to us from the cistern of our God:

    To everything there is indeed a season,

    A time for every purpose…[on this here on earth…]:

    A time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted…;

    A time to embrace, and a time to refrain…embracing;

    A time to keep silence, and a time to…[indeed]...speak…:-

 It is of the latter, with divine wisdom and guidance, I pen on:-

Here on earth, the Creator has endowed us all with that divine

Wisdom of liberty to wisely consider and make choices in all things:

    It’s a choice to oppress, and to be allowed to be oppressed;

    It’s a choice to support political and economic fascism;

    It’s a choice to allow, maintain, and support lynch-style murder;

    It's a choice to support some lives matter, but others do not;

    It’s a choice to feed on lies, rather than being hungry for justice;

    It’s a choice to be silent and apathetic toward abject tyranny:-

                                Choices…choices…

                                And more choices…

    And yes, Black America, it’s a choice not to practice, Black Lives

    Matter;

    And yes, Black America, it’s a choice not to practice in Ebon-hued

    Power;

    And yes, Black America, it’s a choice not to choose to overcome

    The Oppressor Syndrome;

    And yes, Black America, it’s a choice not to be in the practice of

    Forever overcoming;

    And yes, Black America, it’s a sad choice not to be Black and Comely,

    Rather than the American Comedy!

Yes, all of America, it’s time to choose, for all, justice and equality for all

Over injustice and inequality;

Yes, all of America, it’s time to choose love over hate, and divine peace

Over evil war;

Yes, all of America, it’s time to choose engagement in labors of love,

And healing grace;

Yes, all of America, it’s time to choose to have a nation of true democracy

Rather than oppressive anarchy:-

P.S./N.B.: Yes, all of the world, thanks for choosing to allow your mind’s ears

                 To hear my unraveling:-
