Universal Self

God is the flame Who lights all lights, wherein the truth when we cognise, beyond space time, peace that delights, is our Self, which we realise. Back to form, to see God in all, dwelling deep within each form’s core, entwined with gong of Om’s love call, within heart resounds bliss beat’s roar. When sense of separation ends, meaning we transmute as the flame, no one descends, no one ascends; this lucid dream seen as a game. Mirroring God’s blissful heartbeat, essence of presence feels complete.

The last two lines complete the circle. We make our Essence like His, so He will make His Essence like ours.

I suppose there are different ways of interpreting this poem. What the knowing is is that God alone is. When ego dies totally, our Self in singularity (outside space time) is recognised, living light, complete, dwelling in peace, bereft of attributes. This, our true being is what is made in God’s image as scriptures say, not this body-mind.
