Unformed Until the End
Woodland dells, giant trees
Swallows swoop, defying breeze
Jump to sailors and tattoos
What part of time is a ruse
The fact a tree, outlives a man
But cannot hope or devise a plan
Has no say on where it stands
Can be transported to different lands
Sailors ships, barrels of limes
Not sure when but sometimes
How overlapped with time I feel
So reminiscent, somewhat unreal
Fore arms, forewarned, future finds
Straight to complicated minds
Self defeating, downward trend
Driving myself round the bend
Stones become sand, for what it's worth
People, well they become the earth
The tides continue, sweeping clean
Refresh this place, remove what's been
Legacy of footprint rare
Should I or should I not care
We can make a mark set to be erased
There's joy in temporary, knowing replaced
Stack the stones then knock them down
Enjoy the moments you wear the crown
Do I walk in beauty set to fade
As a person do I meet the grade
Do we all offer something unique
Or remove the right of some to speak
Perspective is the rule of right
Revelation of wrong creates the darkest night
Choices made up of used time
I'll lament on using mine
But to rush from place to place
Doesn't stall or change the case
We rest although we're fading fast
Hurrying towards first or last
There's just moments that transcend
Arrive in those, linger before the end
They glimmer as they come into view
Some unexplained reason that you are you
