Unfinished Shifting Perspective
If I write something and don't finish it I tend to lose complete interest in it... this is an almost written one I am unlikely to return to...
Shifting sands, shifting truths
Underlying perception
When is perception lies
Is shifting perception under lying
What lays beneaths the truths I share
As I share what lays beneath
For I am shifting every day
A layer may shift the truth
I'm not a liar, but I shift
So far from this way to that
I lose myself, almost my mind
Do I lose possession of the facts
To myself I change my view
Argue what is right and true
Is everything up for review
A looking glass stepped through
Version control, editing at play
Edges frayed, bits washed away
Stood precisely unsquare
How can I lie when I'm so self aware
Lock me up, tear up exit code
Leave me on the side of the road
My brains recesses are mine to own
Scratched the surface then left alone
