Unfilled Holes
There is no way in to your soul, I'm told.
A chasm vast, a void that can't be filled,
Where darkness thrives and the light is stilled.
I search for paths, for bridges to create,
But find no entry, no portal or gate.
Yet still I yearn, with hope against all odds,
To mend the fragments, to show how much I care.
The hole within, it haunts my every thought,
A puzzle unsolved, a bridge not built.
But I'll persist, with love as my own guide,
To heal your soul, in you, I will confide.
