Unequally Yoked
Your face once spawned poem after poem.
I saw radiance upon
Now you have two faithless eyes,
hollow cheeks, what age has done.
Expressions of the heart have turned
with time and words, so sour.
This I say to disbelief?
My Jesus has all power.
You care not to speak of Him,
and therefore, not to me.
All will come to know His truth,
The Jesus Victory.
You say that aliens founded Earth
That they came much, much first.
“In the beginning was the Word,”
and for that “Word” I thirst.
Unequally yoked is what we are.
Sad breakup in reframe.
One day God will send the man,
blessed in Jesus ‘name.
