A foggy presence in the hollow Doves' coos echo along the way Roosters' crows greet the sun that flows As noisy equipment throttles away Then a silence to man's designs Like the quiet of years ago How refreshing the peace assigns Restful essence amazing joy flows Then noisy sound return again Rob the muse of needed peace Even the crows' watchmen begin Watch out! Are shepherds guarding the fleece? What is happening underneath? Like the bridge in Italy fell! Is there good structure to beneath? Is this nation doomed to hear the bell?

If the foundations are not solid the bridge, building, or Nation will eventually fall. We need to wake up and shore up our foundations!

L.M., Thanks for dropping by. I am afraid that our nation is heading for its doom if there are not changes and the changes need to be made at a rapid pace. So much wrong is going on in our country on all levels of government and in the private sector. I pray that we have a much needed revival.Glad that you got the general gest of my work. Sara

A very insightful verse, Sara. The bridge collapse was awful. I don't know if you were aware but my dear Vera passed away on 19 Jul. She fought a valiant battle with Parkinsons Disease but the one consolation I have is that she now rests in the Arms of our Savior - Bob

Robert, Yes, someone told me via email that Vera had passed. I knew she had a bout with cancer but I had lost contact with you since I knew that you were busy with her care and things starting happening here as well. I know that she is with our Savior waiting for you to come to her side. Thanks for the visit to my page. I hope this has been a good day for you. Sara
