Undercurrent of Melancholy

You fly far, don’t return to nest at dusk, my loneliness, frozen night, melts in tears at drab dawn. You drift away in currents of torment, my heart splinters like pebble in cascade of sadness. Storm of discord rifts our frail horizon, cloudburst sky cleaves the yearning, I lose you in debris.
