Notes About The Poem

For Chantelle Anne Cooke's 'Best Haiku Ever Old or New' Contest
Note:  Drinking and eating under a blooming  cherry
tree (Sakura) is a century old custom in Japan. As a result,
"flowers" in haiku came to be known as "cherry blossoms."
