Uncle Arthur's Final Farewell

Uncle Arthur's Final Farewell The Service was well attended, As we bid our final farewells. Reverend Peters made the address and thanked him for ringing the bells. Not once did he miss practice night, In almost Thirty-Five years. Our Church bells now fall silence, The assembled in floods of tears. Brother Tom recalled a funny story, To lighten the day with a joke. Arthur would have loved it today, He was just that kind of a bloke. No one knew the rope had frayed, Big Bertha, hanging on by a thread. The Poor man never saw it coming, Tragedy, Uncle Arthur was dead.
