Unchain Me
Unchain Me
Take these heavy chains away from round my heart
Take your everlasting sadness as you go
Let me be let my own happiness now start
When you leave just walk away go on now go
For your heavy chains have held me for too long
Now I'm free to be whomever I can be
Stay away don't come around you don't belong
I'm already making plans for the new me
Unchain me now, unchain me
Set me free now, set me free
Release me now, release me
Unchain me now, unchain me
Take away these chains that tied me to your life
I don't need them now I'm stronger on my own
I won't live this stay at home go nowhere strife
I would rather find my happiness alone
Take these heavy chains away from round my heart
Let me find the real me I know that I am
I can't be this trampled person torn apart
Our love's finished now for you don't give a damn
Unchain me now, unchain me
Set me free now, set me free
Release me now, release me
Unchain me now, unchain me
Oh your heavy chains have held me for too long
They are rusty now the links all make me bleed
Take them with you for to me they don't belong
I have feelings of my own as well as needs
Take away these chains that tied me to your life
I don't need the hurt no more now I choose me
Get them off me cut me loose with a knife
Then remove your life from mine and let me be
Unchain me now, unchain me
Set me free now, set me free
Release me now, release me
Unchain me now, unchain me
