Typhoon Is Not Coming

It missed the appointment Emotions accumulated in the air Depressed the bougainvillea speetabilis on the balcony And the parrot’s rap The clouds are very light and thin Like the white woman passing by downstairs I wonder who she is about to meet The lucky one May also wait for the wind I get used to wait And overlook for something I believe the sun-like promise Will be realized in a sudden moment of raising my head I get used to be patient and tolerant This season has one typhoon after another The route is too ambiguous and too mysterious

This poem is fantastic. Your imagery wonderful. These lines should not be edited in any way, Stina. I especially liked this "The clouds are very light and thin Like the white woman passing by downstairs" Bravo!

Thank you Caren. I am not very confident about the wording. Please give me some suggestions if you like.
