Two Worlds He sits in a room, with a TV and crayons. She sits in a room, with tech and friends. He is not unhappy. She is oblivious. It is not fair, but it is true. I have failed, to instill empathy. I have failed, to instill sympathy… for others, or at least, those we should love… and hold dear. Forgive me. I was a sad mother, that forgot, not all birds fly. Some walk fast, and never, leave the ground. They are by far, at times… the most beautiful, to be found anywhere.

Being a step-father to a son who has cerebral palsy.. I can relate to this heartfelt poem. I agree with Gershon, you are too harsh on yourself, Ann. Your love shines through this great write. Hugs Charlie

Thanks for taking the time to look at that book Ann. My friend Mark did all of the writing; drawing, and everything else to get a book ready to be printed.

You are too harsh on yourself. What preparation do any of us have for kids who take tons of special care?!… And I just want to say, it's never ever too late. I know it looks bleak, but involve others n your situation, and you never know! :) gw

One night, I asked for an Angel... I prayed. The next day, things were worse. Then a lady called from the hospital. I went down. She promised all would soon be better. She offered her hand, said, "I am the head nurse... my name is Angel blah blah blah.." I could not speak... things did get better.

Oh my wise friend... it does look bleak, but not for the first time, and not the last. Ever the Lord hears me, and I know he has his hand steady... all is well, but ty for your ever kind words. Blessings on your night. Ann

Sweet poetry Ann. You should check out a friend of mine's YouTube site; where he has posted several of his own books and "Willy the Wingless Wonder" are two of them. Tis true what you pen Ann, the ones that are special are the ones that don't fit the mold. Thanks Ann, I love this one.
