Two Words
Guilt-
Overwhelming-
Drifting apart
Like we never were
…
Were we?
Dropped,
Suspected dirty,
Addicted.
Fell on battered knees
With a bleeding heart.
Can we go back,
Please?
Lost innocence,
Forgotten naivety,
Now feigning ignorance.
Clock-
Tick tick tocking…
Acting;
Doing it flawlessly…
“All you need is love”
…Unknown…
First-
You have to get it.
Bearing my heart;
Stolen kisses,
Forbidden touches,
Allowed molesting,
Attempted rape
-regret-
Mounting Shame
Detrimental drought
B r o k e n
And broken hearted.
Tired,
Yearning,
Striving to be noticed
Invisible…
Universal Consensus-
Or is it?
Striking out
Have to go home now-
Right?
Unsure,
Confused,
Stumbling,
Crying…
Begging
…Saved?
Knight in shining armor!
Rejected:
Hopes dissolved
Ignored,
Hurt:
Desperation,
Depression.
Delusions of fantasy:
Wishing,
Dreaming,
Pretending,
To be fun and fancy free.
Forgotten
Face upturned
-rain-
Drowning,
Purging,
Reinvigorating,
Dying…
Resurrected
Back to purity:
Proud and free,
Just me.
