Two Shadows - In Sorrow Square
Feeling down...and feeling out
So, I took a walk...about
By myself...with no one there
All alone...in Sorrow Square
I could've sworn...I'd seen a ghost
As I stood...beneath the lamppost
There were two shadows...that I could see
One from someone...and one from me
I looked behind...I looked around
There was no one else there...to be found
All by myself...and all alone
I saw the lord's name...etched in stone
I felt his presence...in the breeze
And suddenly...I felt at ease
That ghost, I thought I'd seen...I swore
It was god's shadow...that I saw
Feeling out...and feeling down
He'd thought, it best...to be around
The two of us...in Sorrow Square
I thank, the lord...for he was there
