Two raindrops
Plop, plop,
Two drops from rain clouds fall,
How varied their thoughts, I recall,
Both fall upon parched dust,
One feels, oh my life’s all but bust.
The other feels rosy indeed—
I’d fertilize a seed
That would grow to be tall,
Look at my potential!
… …
Plumb, plumb,
Of two drops that fall in the sea,
One feels, ‘I’ve lost identity’,
It despairs lost in sea,
The other, ‘I’ve now become sea,
And marvels at its potentiality.
To her chicks tells a chirpy bird,
What she’d ere from her mother heard.
