Two Hearts Beating As None

When you chase love
Down the alley of despair
Love escapes into the thin cold air
You dance alone, in bewilderment

At your solitude

Then at the blink of an eye
You see her, staring over there
Love struck she seems.... with golden hair
She chases love, as she passes you on by

She is solitary and she wonders why

In her room alone does she cry?
Or is she cold, heartless and chasing diamonds in the skies?
I walk in the gardens of summer’s content
Pondering life, and loves discontent

Would she ever shed a tear for me?

Two hearts beating as none
Two souls combined
In the universe of none

Twenty four plus one reasons to die

I love the words in this poem. So many exact scenes you paint with minimal effort. That is what poetry is meant to be.

I know the feeling of wanting to die, when you care so much for someone and they don't even notice you..... You expressed those deep feelings so well here.... Just go after her heart, Arthur. What have you got to lose?

You will never know unless you give it a chance....reach out your hand ask her to dance...start a little romance....the beat might be there behind her golden hair so get off your chair and fly over there....chase your dreams....go Hawks
