Two

Two pigeons
high on a limb,
making fun of the cat,
really brave
till the hawk swooped in...

two fishy
putting a can on a hook,
thought they were cute
not giving the net
a look...

two politicians
counting a pile of cash,
thinking themselves untouchable
as heaven prepared a rash...

Hi Bill; In prayer (mystic meditation) I have encountered souls (lost ones I think) seeking light...not to dwell on their hideous appearance, but what strikes me most is the utter coldness of such beings...pleading for warmth. I bless them (pray for them)...and while doing so am also reminded of my own frailties. Such experience is always sobering to me. Oh could we convince non believers!~for all our sake.

Hi Joe; people are starting to wake up, starting to see that this totalitarian/socialist New World Order will be oppressive and brutal, but I fear it is too late to vote these scums out. I have little faith that the next major election in the USA will be honest and the outcome not manipulated to further control. Look at the property seizures going on in Holland, the importance of such matters not stressed enough by the Mainstream US Press in my opinion. I would not be surprised if I heard that like-minding dictatorial governments are now making deals to use foreign troops on sovereign soils to come against their own people. Don't know any of this to be true. Just speculating. But? What if?

I remember what Christ said.. “Let He who is without sin cast the first stone…” I get the feeling in many poems, that we are somehow perfect. Say,what? Not me. We are all humans..politicians or not.
