Humble moments in poetic tones, Sing joy through my soul As the night beckons with her insights, Quaint, stagnant shadows, erasing fear, Trembling in silhouettes of gentle, Melodious dreams dance Through the starlight, reflecting Grace that never forgets, never regrets… In the middle of July intensity, the heat Steaming film, budding from the asphalt In deafening sighs, promising Scents of melancholy, blowing in the wind Remembering the moment when My heart was stirred by the honesty Of a moment, blurred by the passion, Rising from the firefly’s flickering Breathing light over the edges of our existence… Laughing stars, reflecting the memories When yesterday’s dream drove the train Preventing me from boarding At the whisper of a prayer, confiding The knowing that comes from a soul who hears Light breaking apart the darkness, Twilight’s easy shine, reflecting all the moments Just before night covers the earth And drowns out the whispers of a sun Who will rise again – Yes, oh yes, rising again Is just like the Son who glows in the eyes Of every believer who decides… He is the light that never dies… He is the source of every life… He is the love that is like a fire… Never going out, always creating – Love that never fails, love that always smiles Against the edges of twilight, reflecting The music of a soul’s goodness, The grace that promises, with His love, We’ll never regret our decision to live for Him, The One who gave our hearts the very best, The One who saved our souls from the past, The One who is the Light that never goes out, The One who made us to love as He has!
