Twenty Years From Now:
In twenty years time, I'll be seventy,
An elderly man who is young at heart,
Dreaming dreams avoiding reality,
With every day I shall make a new start.
Seeing the beauty at every new turn,
Hearing the sounds of music as I go,
Like the stars above I shall always burn,
Seeking out love, that one day I will know.
Being seventy shall not bother me,
For in my heart I will remain sixteen,
It is just a matter of living free,
And with my poetry keep my mind keen.
Until the day I pass over thy hill,
For I have the power of my own will.
