Twenty Three

Looking back in time the reality strikes home, age slips forward unnoticed and in the blink of an eye time has passed and we are standing looking back. Youth was a deception barely lasting a moment, todays slip away, breaths and heart's beating too fast then taking in the years lost, we wonder what did we ever know at twenty three?

At 23, I knew it all! At 24, I had to relearn everything I thought I already knew. This is a great write, DM:)
