Turquoise Sky

Under the turquoise sky
The brown and white pony
His gentle brown eyes still, his ears up
Raises his head to listen
For the songs of his Indian brothers
Ghosts in the dust and sage
Eagle feathers on the ground

For constance rambling poet's contest: horses, snowflakes, horses and snowflakes, Theme chosen horse
