11/15/2023 You are my midnight love chimera. Beneath a turquoise sea. We met innocently and affably. Giggling and smiling, so innocently. But…passion’s gates opened wide. And its aquatic , aqueous mouth… Swallowed us, whole and most divine. Our soul’s instantaneously intertwined! What entity, created such instant intimacy. An under the deep sea, exotic gratification. .Chimera~ something that exists as an aspiration… but is not achievable in this world at all. Of Greek etymology.~ a fire-breathing monster that has a lion’s head, a goat’s body and the tail of a snake!

Linda! Thank you very much. And I know that you know what I was thinking of in this poem…. Lol. I was thinking of an old song back in the 1940s before anyone who was born. You’re the cream in my coffee, you’re the salt a message too. Sounds like silly lines, nut so true. I am so glad you understand me))). Pamgie xx

The poet is glad you liked the image!! Maybe will just post images from here on in! As if!….It’s an evil dependency as major poets do not use images..with poetry, do they? Send me a coloring bookAnyway.. ,, not writing, so the question is moot. Panagiota Romios

Hi Victor, I wish I knew lt more. I know poet friends trained in this area. I loved to learn that in early Greece, potery was sung.so I like poetry that has some form or balance to it. I really liked this poem, too.there is much of me, in this write. Pangie xxx

a stunning love poem, Pangie, with some beautiful imagery. I felt the passion within this relationship and especially liked "the deep sea, exotic gratification" Well done. Hope you are well...wishing you a splendid evening, dear Pangie. hugs, Sara

Hello Sara, you are something special here.Since you posted, , I changed the image and added some notes at the bottom. It’s good to expand our vocabulary and know etymology of words. Chimeras origins are now posted below the poem. You… rightly stated that this bubbles with undersea passion but avoids any touch of crass vulgarity. Thank you for your thoughtful soul.and the read.
