Turmoil Within Four Walls

From a tumultuous beginning The curly headed boy came Watching his father mistreat his mother Time and time again He also suffered at his fathers hand This innocent curly headed boy His father wounded his body But his spirit he did not destroy The curly headed boy a teenager now Had watched his mother’s pain This day he grabbed his father And dealt him the same! His father never raised his hand again To to this sweet boy or his mother He protected and kept his mother safe He so deeply loved her The curly headed boy now an older man Humble , decent with a gracious mind A loving ,protective father he became His turmoil is the past ….left behind!
