Tryst
“The entire universe is within us ~
This wisdom dawns, when we ride God’s bliss bus”
~ quote by poet
Hemmed in by lower mind and senses five
My awareness dips in the waking-state
For I know not how heart in dreams does jive
Moment to moment, as dark desires bait
I fall prey to fears, that in shadows wait
Little wonder then, that I feel not whole
Although I’m old, perhaps it’s not too late
My tryst with love, should lead me to my soul
All I know for sure, is that I’m alive
Other than this, I’m twirled about by fate
I know not how I may, soul’s light revive
Given to rage, lust, angst, envy and hate
It seems a distant dream, is heaven’s gate
I pray God guides me, to play my life role
But my thoughts are impure and far from chaste
My tryst with love, should lead me to my soul
Negating fears, into the void I dive
Ending once for all, ego spurred debate
In the cave of heart, I find a bliss hive
No demons remain, I need to placate
Doing nothing, I reach a peaceful state
Even though bliss is an interim goal
Flow of soma nectar does not abate
My tryst with love, should lead me to my soul
Polarities merge; nodes within form mate
Erect spine becomes a luminous pole
As living light, God’s will I co-create
My tryst with love, should lead me to my soul
