Truth Versus Faith
If you say you know God, Friend, I'm hoping you jest,
For Christ Jesus, himself does not make such a claim,
"I don't speak on my own, but just what God commands!"
Does this sound like a man that would own worth proclaim?"
If you do not know GOD then what truth can you KNOW,
When the Bible too cautions this world's eyes are dim,
Might man's BEST be our faith that our God's in control,
Though the Bible might give us insights to serve Him.
But just faith is not knowledge friend; I'd say that's clear,
The beginning of knowledge the groking of what
You don't know! Is God's Grace, somehow then, fair reward?
Is it true God's your vassal, should serve your least thought?
Does a man act on knowledge or only on faith
His beliefs may perhaps have some basis in Truth,
As the years come and go, does humility wane,
Or is confidence possible sign of man's youth?
God's word tells us humility's valued by God,
Since God's infinite too, hear new paradox groan,
Some infinities burn competition like toast! (1)
Do God's values suggest that God isn't alone?

Poet's Notes:
(1) A part of God's creation, mathematics has been used to prove
that some infinities are larger than others! In fact, mathematics
proves that some infinities are infinitely bigger than other infinities.
The Bible tells us that God too can change His mind. Could this mean
that our God, as our Father, wonders with us at times, if He is alone?
