Truth Continued

They promised fountains
Flowing crystal streams
Cool refreshing waters
I want to drink till I am full
Why else would I journey to this desolate place
I walk over the bones of those who came before me
Their voices scream out from the dust
warning me to go back
Am I already too late
I retrace my steps until I dissapear
Surrrender
Leave behind the evaporated me
The next moment I am lifted
carried on invisible wings
Light as air
Have I been turned to dust
I look into my Savior's eyes
His tears become a stream
The banks overflow
I am refreshed
I drink till I am full
reconstituted
His promise has been kept
I am saved because he wept
With his body he paid my debt
Now his truth is the one I accept

There's always a great deal of moral value in your pieces. I can visualize it all so well in my head and I'm left feeling enlightened. God bless you, Rick... keep doing what you do.

How amazing! :) John 4: 14- ..."but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." The visual images you've created are a refreshing taste of truth. Well done.

It's nice to communicate with someone who knows their bible. I have a real attraction to water, it was a big reason we moved to kelowna. I never fully relax unti I am around water.

I have lots of nicknames myself, I used to play a lot with my cousin, we around the same age, at six or so we would play cowboys and I would always be 'Billy the Kid', to this day he still refers to me as 'our Bill', and everybody knows thats me. I'm pleased you asked, gives a chance to learn about each other. Do you have a nickname you're willing to share? Take care, Richard

oooo I came back for another read on this, I wanted it straight in my head, sometimes they drift away. Well I see a Q. This started when one of Eileen's poem struck me as an answer much like an Agony Aunt would give, I commented so in my reply and just went on from there, it has now changed to Desert Orchid due to other comments. It will probably change again at some point. Is just a bit fun.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it Richard. I am curious why do you call Eileen Auntie??? Inquiring minds want to know. Have a good weekend Richard.
