Truth We must learn to just be still To live in the moment of life’s free will We all have moods that create our path When happiness comes I wonder how long will it last Mindset is the most challenging thing With each thought and insight of what is Time is a gift that should not be wasted As tears of regret should not be tasted Acceptance of what is what was the unknown And never to fear the journey when you are alone To See the beauty in all that shines Never let hatred or anger stain your eyes Solitude will teach you lessons with time In silent nights such peace you will find If negativity consumes the mind Thoughts and conscience Will then collide To see the joy that Can only Come from Your Spirit and heart Find your way you just need to start Never give up as each day is a new chance To hold life’s hand in this gracious dance By Jodie Williams 7th of July 2023
