Trust the Lord, He Forgives
unsurvived,
walking amongst the ones who cry-
I close my eyes,
drift off into a lullaby...
singing tunes of hatred,
I hear melodies of obscurity-
hidden behind masquerades of intuition,
revolted by immaturity.
far beyond the emerald fields,
in between the lines spoken-
lives a house of one,
where calmness is broken.
I've fed the lambs truth,
yet they betray with mistrust-
I've given my best self,
for leaving is a must.
a verse can carry a template
that evolution can be whole-
I drift into a lullaby,
as the lambs lose control.
a fever rushes,
my forehead blushes.
I shake and shiver,
feeling the quiver.
but who are you to drown?
what gives you rights to stay true?
I say you'd never speak those words,
if you knew the Lord like I do.
I live with faith,
hope with grace-
I can see those lies
in a lullaby embrace.
choose righteousness,
expel all secret moments-
deliver your will,
to the Lord's atonement.
