True Gift of Christmas
Naughty elves chatter round the den
Fingers wrapping toys once again,
Hours before Christmas glistens bright
While tunes of ' Ho Ho Ho ' delight.
Decked with trimming and holly
On Santa Claus’ sled, tons of glee;
As reindeer horns flash a moon’s burn
A time of magic as kids churn,
Not slumbering, O not until
Jingle bells ring through Pole’s goodwill.
And Frosty the Snowman looks out
For sleigh bells tingling, no doubt.
Winter Fairy Land, a Babe’s Eve
Reflecting St. Nick’s gifts which leave,
Joys of blessing when heavens shine
Through children’s faith, ever divine!
