Triennial Year
It's being a quarter decade
Of me writing poetry
It may not be much, but it feels sacred
And sometimes sovereignty
My works are one sided
And obviously narcissistic
Some are vived and clastic
Others are exaggerated.
Yeah, I'm frantic. Yeah, I'm rustic.
Yeah, it's skeptical. Yeah, it's ethnic
Sure it seems quaint but it's my gain
I barely scrached the surface
having drawn material
From many source's.
Sometimes it was indefinite
And other times it was definite
They say a drop of ink
May make a million think, and
The pen is mightier than the sword
But that's like using common
Sense that's not common
Started with documenting my experiences
Than it preceded to writing poetry
I do try not to think about it
Like writing is as another deed
Easy come, easy go
Maybe an occasional phrase
Or homonym, proverb or idiom
You may use puns to confuse
But I introduce vernacular as patois
Still aiming for pathos, of course.
