Dear Grandma
Your charisma
inspired me
on every step as I moved!
My tribute for thee!
Hankering for Mother’s love was removed.
You cared always for my comfort
and needs of all sorts.
You loved me so much!
Your tender touch
from childhood
started song of life from prelude
passed to interlude
with affection and caress
showering ceaseless.
A little girl took shelter on your lap
to clap at ease
to release
anxiety.
My Tribute to thee
on Mother’s Day.
I must say
‘ I couldn’t repay
your debt
though I enjoyed best
your blessings as asset.’
I pray
your acceptance
of my reverence.
You held the place of my Mom
from
very childhood.
My gratitude
to you on Mother’s Day.
