Rhyme, (Tribute poem to a famous and great poetess)
Care to guess which one, or send me a soup-mail to find out her name?
Tribute, To Her And The Treasures She Gave
Low, soft echoes heard, as she stood her ground
a poet, perhaps even one profound.
Taking no pay, begging not gold treasure,
tossing in kindness just for good measure.
What great value do poets truly present
are they ever a blessing, heaven sent?
Why seek thee to read such words from the heart
or dare to cipher, wisdom some impart?
Can such relieve, worldly sorrows and pains
or increase treasures of life that remains?
Yes, even we poor poets wonder such things
too oft walk blindly, as did ancient kings.
Low, soft echoes heard, as she stood her ground
a poet, perhaps even one profound.
Taking no pay, begging not gold treasure,
tossing in kindness just for good measure.
What great value do poets truly present
are they ever a blessing, heaven sent?
