Tree Life

I stand tall under the sun I sway in the Summer breeze The light dims beneath my strong limbs I'm just one of many trees See the grandeur of my life I'm such a majestic sight If you require I'll fuel your fire To keep you warmer at night My roots run both deep and wide My leaves change hue in the Fall From Bird's slumber to Man's lumber I provide shelter for all A tree is what I will be Right up to my final breath Standing proud and singing out loud Until the day of my death
