Treasures In Heaven
When I'm devastated by circumstances,
And obviously powerless to understand;
Unforeseen things always begin to happen,
So divergent from things I had planned.
For I fathom not what my day will bring,
Or what circumstance may come my way.
But my faith in God will see me through,
Any tribulations of that particular day.
God never promised me polished sailing,
But that a way of escape He would make.
Sometimes the worldly offerings I chase,
Cause my Lord and Savior's heart to break.
