Transition
As summer grudgingly gives way
And autumn has crossed the doorway
Many changes are on their way
Though they are not for long to stay
Mild wind blows in whispering hum
As summer grudgingly gives way
Leaves will change into red and brown
In time they will fall one by one
Maple's a grand sight to relish
That eyes can never relinquish!
As summer grudgingly gives way
In beautiful dress, Earth arrives
Autumn tightens its strangling grip
Blizzards blow in mightier sweep
The trees are stripped off all their leaves
As summer grudgingly gives way
