Train of Thoughts
Train of Thoughts
I closed my eyes, and the butterflies
Were flying around my dreams.
As a tear rolled down my cheek
And the sky had tinted blue streaks,
I remembered the days of joy
Which I never knew were a lie
This train of thoughts used to tear me apart
I don't know when I've grown so smart
Because it is doesn't anymore
I think I finally found a cure
I've learned that it isn't necessary
For romanticized pasts
To always last
You left me on this floor
And you thought I wasn't sure
Darling, now I've grown so strong
Stronger than your expectations
I loathe your fake humiliation
Which I once adulated
All my feelings feel faded
Now I don't need you anymore
Because I'm powerful than before!
