Tracks of Your Tears
Sometimes in life when God's direction you seek,
You need His guidance on some timely action.
When you're praying your understanding He might tweak,
For your purest thoughts seem to get no traction.
You ask, please Lord, give me a sign of some kind,
Then from your hearts depth tears start to flow.
You seem to be groping, in darkness, as if blind,
Needing peace and assurance and your faith to grow.
Sometimes as tears make tracks on your face,
Feeling alone, you might make a decision that's wrong.
You feel the need of a Christian friend's embrace,
Keep Shirlene in your hand Lord where she'll be strong.
