Tracing Footprints To the Lighthouse

Time stopped for them on the serene sea shore, pair of parallel footprints engraved the eternity on the serenading sands that listened patiently the rolling waves’ moist whisper of marine love, conveyed to two hearts entwined by the glow of twilight gleam reflected from sensuous sea, her eyes sparkled in the beam of the lighthouse, when the starless sky slided on surface of sea. The light of her eyes went out one dark night, the wrecked mariner set out to the high sea on a voyage of solace riding the swells of tear, the new sun didn’t rise on the receding horizon. In endless night of tempest the fallen sad sky drowned the dark moon and the debris of stars, the surging wind carried the shards broken voice, the craving call of the silent shore she deserted. The beacon flickered like a candle in the wind, he saw the glint of her eyes when they closed, but the lingered rays of guiding light travelled through the turbulent wake of floating memory. The mariner returned with the tormented heart on the crest of waves breaking on lonely shore, traced her faded footprints to the lighthouse.
