Torn Promises
He walked away, leaving behind our shared history.
I wish I had clung to him tighter if I knew that would be our last day together.
Despite my efforts, he chose to part ways.
Feeling incomplete, questioning my worth.
The promises we made, now shattered and forgotten.
His actions continuously inflict deep wounds.
Moving on is an intimidating possibility, a fresh start.
I cannot gather the strength to navigate this new and unfamiliar path.
The difficulty of letting go and embracing change.
Love, despite the pain, stubbornly persists.
In the aftermath, I'm tangled with conflicting emotions,
Torn between the hurt and an enduring neverending love.
