Too Many People

There's too many people and not enough room Take a trip to the markets on an afternoon Highways are jammed with cars six abreast Crowded hospitals people waiting for tests Long lines at the movies or your favourite eatery Suburbs are expanding we're losing our scenery How to survive if populations keep rising Leaders are concerned which is not surprising Don't have any answers only some questions Begging for help have you got some suggestions The ingenuity of man has always come through When threatened we've always known what to do Let hope mankind finds the solution some day Otherwise our society will just fade away © Jack Ellison 2013

Oh Jack! Societies don't crumble away... They fall with a bang! The bigger they are, the harder they fall when they go. Over sized governments and a country where the leaders become too isolated destroy everything. All solutions come from the bottom up. People responsible for their own bills and welfare will Limit the family size. Those on the dole will keep acting irresponsibly. But you have to care to solve a problem, and to teach, and help them climb out of the poverty with their own efforts.
