Too Empty
5/24/21
This goes out to any
Are you ready?
Doesn't help to be down to a few pennies
I've been feeling too empty
Drinking and smoking too many
Threw every
Night and occasion avoiding anything too petty
It's evident, does not benefit to envy
In a world that can be bizarre, it won't do any
Kind of good, or get you far through deadly
Obstacles, even when it seemed improbable
Doing the impossible
With or without an audible
From here to New Delhi
Enemies I slew many
Tried to tell me to grow a pair, I grew plenty
At times it got too messy
Close to and far from a blue Chevy
Hands shaky, not too steady
Had to handle the burden, even when it seemed far too heavy
