Tonight Is Poets Night
To light a fellow poets' soul to a happy state
of being and set it aglow.
As fresh as the very first dust of earhscape's
very first,snow.
We have the power, though the world may so
seem dark,
To ignite another poet-soul with our own
shining spark.
To let them know that they, in truth do count
all through the starry night.
This is our bond as poets, to stand by each other
with both integrity and might!
