Today I'M Different, I'M Just Not the Same
I’m not the man I used to be,
My mind is not the same.
My mind ignored the rules you see,
And redefined the game.
The rules used to be: my thoughts were free
Free to give it a go.
Everything random that came along,
From fast to fleeting to slow.
Instead it chose to redefine free,
Redefining what I wanted to do.
Let the walls attack from every side,
So now I’m here down, out, and blue.
No simple ad lib, no life on a sleeve,
Casual life was killed yesterday.
I’m now at a desk, I sit at a desk,
Real free has been packed away.
