Today
Today I had so many things to do
Got up early so I would be through
From mowing the lawn, fixing the shed
Doing laundry and making the beds
Vacuumed the floors and clean the tub
Wax the car to shine from that extra rub
Walked the dogs and trimmed their nails
Washed the dishes and dust for a spell
Weekends are suppose to be fun
But sometimes you just got to get things done
Today when I finish my chores
I remember to do just one more
Now this is not work but more like play
I just wanted to wish you a very Happy Birthday!
