To the Wind Once More
"to the wind once more"
somewhere between yesterday and now we talked before
I know this true because over and over I started new
whispered hellos and goodbyes come to mind with demise
questions of where the fresh start and day remain
why are goodbyes never gone
why are hellos never heard
will suns shine and warm
will tides roll in and out
waters hold secrets stars hold dreams
knowing of yesterday knowing of today
somewhere between now and tomorrow I'll wait
will hello be hello and goodbye be goodbye
to the wind once more I'll toss my desire
standing tall waiting for it to transpire
