To the Moon

Some nights I like to gaze at the moon I love all the phases oh yes all are beautiful but the crescent moon is the best I wish that I could f l o a t up and sit on the edge dangling my feet way up there above the earth falling asleep in the moon's curve it would be magical and then when the stars blinked goodbye I would f a l l fall into my bed and in the morning I would be curled up spooning my pillow . . . ___________________ October 25, 2017 Poetry/Free Verse/To The Moon Copyright Protected, ID 17-9524-70-0 All Rights Reserved.
