To the Best Mom
To the best mom I have wrote this letter,
wishing everyday we could be together.
Hearts have sunk and many tears cried,
almost feeling like someone has died.
There is no beating in my chest,
no heart there to no longer rest.
Children here without their mother,
the worst feeling like no other.
All in pain not knowing what to do,
but sit here and constantly think of you.
As you read this please don't cry,
I don't want you behind bars having your emotions die.
keep your head up and a smile on your face,
I know that's hard to do in such a place.
but remember we're here thinking of you,
and all the good times that we've been through.
I know we've had problems and not so good times,
but it all seems better written in rhymes.
So I've wrote this one down and gave it to,
I hope this helps you fight this through.
Even though you wont see me for prom,
I still could not ask for a better mom.
